Q. How much space is necessary?
A. That depends on the event. The RoadGamer Mobile Video Gaming Theater is a 28’ Box Truck. It is a customized moving van, and takes up the length of 2 ½ parking spaces. An optimal space for Laser Tag and Splash Wars is approximately the size of a basketball court. WE CAN HELP YOU PLAN THE SPACE TO MAKE YOUR EVENT UNFORGETTABLE! Q. If I don’t have enough space to host an event are there any options?
A. Absolutely! Remember we BRING THE FUN TO YOU! Many times we can plan the perfect event in your space, but alternatives exist. We have hosted several events at the local-park, community swimming pool, office parking lot, YMCA and churches. We can recommend some ideas if space becomes an issue, so CALL Today!
Q. How far in advance should I book an event?
A. The best advice I can give you is as soon as you decide to host an event lock it in with your reservation! In many instances we won’t collect a deposit-however, there may be cancellation fees. Many events book 6-8 weeks in advance.
Q. How many people can fit inside the RoadGamer Theater?
A. The RoadGamer truck can accommodate 16 players inside, and has ample space for a few observers. There is also an outdoor system increasing the accommodation to 20 gamers at one time! For evening parties we can add a 10’ screen with a projector for additional gaming, space permitting and additional cost.
Q. How much does a RoadGamer event cost?
A. Simple…Affordable…Unforgettable! While you can’t put a price tag on the memories and momentum created from a RoadGamer event, pricing is available on the main menu page of each event type on the web-site. Most events are similarly priced and combination events are available upon request!
Q. Can you have a “Combination Party” with more than one of the events?
A. Absolutely! Call us for a free combo- consultation. Our is desire to bring you the absolute BEST value to make your event Simple, Affordable and Unforgettable.
Q. Do you need to plug into electrical service or water supply?
A. In some cases you may be required to provide these connections. The event type and equipment utilized will dictate our needs. These issues are discussed in the initial conversation. The Video Gaming Truck is equipped with state of the art “quiet” power brought to you at the site you choose.
Q. What is your refund or cancellation policy?
A. This is covered in our service agreement. Generally speaking we have a non-refundable deposit to reserve a time for your event. In the case where an event must be rescheduled, a nominal “re-booking” fee may apply. We are in the business of creating Raving Fans and will work with you in every way possible.
Q. What games are provided?
A. RoadGamer events are equipped and stocked to handle most gaming requests in accordance with the Entertainment Software Rating Board ratings of “E”- Everyone through “M” –Mature. For a comprehensive menu of available games is listed online at www.roadgamers.com, and of course, you are welcome to bring your games on board provided they maintain the above listed ratings and party host approval.
Q. Can bad weather affect our RoadGamers LLC event?
A. It depends on the type of event booked. Outdoor events can be affected by inclement weather and alternative ideas are typically discussed at the time of booking your event. The Video Gaming Truck was designed for all weather conditions. Our theater is insulated and climate controlled allowing us to provide events all year. Weather can affect the use of the outdoor tv and patio. In the event of severe weather we may reschedule your event to guarantee everyone’s safety.
Q. What age group should participate in laser tag?
A. This is a great question. All ages can participate in Laser Tag, but the equipment utilized will be different to maximize the experience and FUN! Kids 9 and older LOVE Paintball Laser Tag equipment for the realism it provides. I describe it as the Video Game Modern Warfare in your own skin. The sights, sound and live action of the battlefield are awesome at a price: the gun weighs approximately 8 lbs fully loaded. That’s a lot of weight for a little one- so we have alternative electronic laser tag guns that are just as much fun! RoadGamers will work with you to make it UNFORGETTABLE and these ideas are all discussed in the initial consultation.
